No. 21 The State of Nebraska Plaintiff vs. George H Flickinger Defendant Feb 10 1890 On this day Eneas Elliott made complaint in writing and upon oath signed by said complainant as follows: Box Butte County } ss Eneas Elliott being first being duly sworn complains and says that one Goerge Flickinger did within the said county of Box Butte and in the village of Alliance did on the 25th day of December 1889 engage in loud and boisterous language and in a threatening and menacing manner did discharge firearms around the feet of certain persons and all within the incorporated villge of Alliance contrary to the ordinances of said village and contrary to the ordinances of said village and contrary to the law and the peace and dignity of the State of Nebraska. Eneas Elliott Subscribed and sworn to before me this 10th day of February 1890 E. Cotton Justice of the Peace Issued warrant for the said George Flickinger and delivered same to J. R. Anderson City Marshall and Constable Feb 10 1890. Feb. 11 1890. Warrant returned endorsed as follows: Received this warrant Feb. 10th 1890 and as commanded I have the body of George Flickinger in Court this 11th day of Feb. Fees $1.10. J. R. Anderson City Marshall On motion of defendant the case was adjourned to Feb 11 1890 at 2 P.M. and defendant let go at liberty on his own recognisance to appear at said hour. Feb 11th 1890 at 1 P.M. plaintiff's attorney appeared and filed motion to dismiss upon complaining witness paying costs, there being no evidence to show that defendant was guilty, whereupon I dismissed the case and discharged the defendant.
