(circle one) *Sheila D Eastman, owner for the above named stallion, will be referred to as breeder. (circle one) 1. This contract is for the 2009 season, 2/1/2009 thru 11/30/2009. 2. The 2009 stud fee is $750.00. This fee includes the first shipment of cooled shipped semen plus a non- refundable booking fee of $100.00 (included in the stud fee) which must accompany this signed contract. 3. Mare owner must return breeding farms Equitainer within 72 hours after use of be subject to a $20.00 per day late fee. 4. The first shipment of semen is free. Each additional shipment is $200.00 for service. (This includes collection, processing of semen, and the shipping expenses TO the mare owner.) Mare owner returns empty shipping container to Breeder at their own expense. Each semen shipment must be paid for prior to collection. Breeder offers Fed-Ex overnight service Monday thru Friday. 5. All fees must be paid prior to shipping. This includes booking fee, balance of stud fee and cooled semen charges. 6. We ask for twenty-four (24) hours prior notice on shipments if possible. Please notify breeding farm on first day of mare's cycle. 7. Copy of registration papers of mare showing correct ownership for stallion breeder's report should accompany this contract. 8. This contract contains a Live Foal Guarantee. Live foal is defined as one that stands and nurses. If a live foal is not realized, breeders must be notified by veterinarian's certificate within seven (7) days of death of foal. Rebreed privileges are for 2010 season only. Rebreed apply to stud fee balance only, all other expenses and contract conditions apply. Mare's pregnancy must be confirmed by ultrasound exam for Live Foal Guarantee to apply. 9. Mare owner agrees to sign and return Cooled Semen Transportation Certificate provided by AQHA that will accompany each shipment. One copy is to be returned to breeder, as soon as you receive your shipment and one copy to AQHA within 15 days of insemination date. One copy for mare owner. To register a foal resulting from cooled transported semen, parentage verification through DNA testing is required. 10.
