How to get to the High Plains Homestead (dig out your atlas!) Located in the northwest corner of Nebraska, in the middle of the Oglala National Grasslands we are not far from the Toadstool Geological Park, Hudson-Meng Bison-Kill, Montrose Church, Warbonnet Battlefield, Fort Robinson State Park and the Black Hills of South Dakota, home of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and too many other attractions to list here! |

There are a number of ways to get to High Plains Homestead, home of the Drifter Cookshack and Bunkhouse, but the way that is probably best for most is to take Toadstool Road off Highway 2/71 to Sand Creek Road. We are located approximately 3 miles west of the Toadstool Road - Sand Creek Road intersection. Or as we always say, "...follow the signs to High Plains Homestead and Hudson-Meng Bison Kill."
